Work With Graham Rowan - The Algarve Advisor.

I work with a handful of selected clients on a fractional basis in a role that combines being a sounding board with half a century of commercial experience to draw on and taking some operational responsibility in critical areas like investor relations.

As you’ll see in the feedback from clients below, I’ve been able to make a transformational difference across a range of businesses at different stages on their growth journey.

Much of my work can be done remotely from my base here in Portugal while I also travel to key events such as board meetings, investor events or to speak at major conferences on behalf of clients for whom I act as an ambassador.

Together, we’ll follow a structured, collaborative process:

  1. Clarify
    – Define your biggest challenges and determine where I can best help. We then agree the scope and timescale of the assignment
  2. Create
    – Build key deliverables such as GoToMarket strategy or preparation for a capital raise
  3. Deliver
    – Everything from brainstorm sessions to investor calls to webinars, videos and special reports
  4. Refine
    – Tweak and improve with weekly calls

Why It Works

Most founders are overloaded with a To Do list that never ends and access to very few people who have the experience to help them see the wood for the trees. They need a sounding board when it comes to how best to launch or grow the business AND a safe pair of hands when it comes to key areas of operations like looking after current or prospective investors.

Younger founders like to have some ‘grey hair’ in the team, a resource I have in abundance!

Above all, my combination of experience and flexibility means you can have as much or as little support as you need in the areas where we work together.

Book A Call To See If We Are Right For Each Other

This is a bespoke service.
I can only work with a small number of founders at any time to ensure full focus and results. If you’d like to be considered, book a no-obligation 30-minute strategy call.

The only caveat I want to mention before we speak is that I will only consider paid assignments or hybrids with a mix of fees and equity. I already own a lot of private equity paper and am highly selective about taking any more!

Prayer

We aim to put God at the centre of our business activity and to pray for one another as we encounter the day to day challenges of the entrepreneur life.

Moral Support

Only those who have run a business can fully empathise with the ups and downs of the self-employed life. From regulatory challenges to difficult employees, from rising costs to finding new customers, we can lend an ear and offer reassurance and advice.

Practical Support

We all have our skills and experience and our Little Book of Contacts. Chances are, someone in the network will be able to assist with whatever your latest requirement is. Or they will know someone who can.
